Yellow Kingdom (Jhitka of Manikganj).

Manikganj can be a wonderful place to chase away the ghosts of those who are haunted by the ghosts of the yellow state travel as soon as winter comes. And after a few days you will see the kingdom of this yellow state.

I went after a while. Suddenly BRT Sir such a bizarre overtaking! Absolutely in the ditch. For a while, the unfamiliar bird became more unfamiliar. The infamy of the Aricha Highway might have been written in the pages of history once again. The beginning of the jam from Gulistan to Vyabachaka was extended to Gabtali. However, our love for this instability started after leaving Savar. I could smell the village. That familiar, everlasting village of my soul.

When we reached Manikganj at 10:30 pm. The small shivers of the winter night were thrilling us. Without delay, I quickly fixed the hotel and immersed myself in arranging the night.

I thought I would go out in the morning. But without waiting for that, I broke the falling sleep of the night with a light touch. It was still dark outside. I don’t know if I will get a bus so early. But the greed for date juice inspired all obstacles. I was getting ready like that. As the darkness dawned and the dawn was announcing its arrival on the earth, a thick fog was covering it all around. I captured the commentary camera of our journey.

The bus is moving forward in heavy fog. The only thing I look around is white. As if nature has spread its whiteness for all these nature lovers like us. If you see two yellow lights, it means there is a car in front, go slowly. But we are also thrilled, happy and a little scared.

After crossing the Tara Bridge for a while, our bus took a turn on Jhitkar Road. This road is narrow. After quite a while the smell of the surroundings changed. I realized that we had already reached the road through the yellow procession. The musty smell of mustard came to our nose. I could not see anything around. All he wanted was to leave all the obstacles of the world behind, to run towards the sky with both hands in the direction of the yellow. The imperfection of a thousand years is full of infinite beauty.

I went down in search of date juice. The search for juice in the market started from the idea that more or less date juice is available in the market. But just asking a few people changed our minds. Someone said that sometimes it is sold there but there is nothing anywhere.

The trees have already delivered the sap to the householder’s house. Molasses has been spelled from date juice in many houses in the village for many years. White molasses is a type of date molasses known as Hazari molasses. Many people in this village are still making this molasses invented many years ago. The sale of raw date juice has been stopped due to panic of Nipah virus and red signal of the police.

The misty jhatka still did not see the face of the sun. We are waiting for the sun to shine when the hope of juice has faded. There is a dry canal with high school through the market. The village on the other side of the bridge. The tea shop is right next to the bridge. We rejuvenated ourselves with a kiss of tea on a winter morning. We are very close to the biggest attraction. On the way, I clearly understood the cause of Nipah virus by seeing the dominance of Badur in the trees. Pedestrians are turning their ears in the fight. I entered a mustard field nearby. After a while, our Punjabi, pajama pants got wet with dew. The distant fields did not look good.

Bella began to grow. The busy people began to be busy on the farm. We then entered an inner village. From a distance, the yellow gaze was pointing at us. Like a greedy lover, I ran away greedy in the trap of his youth like crazy. The flashes of sunlight then ignited the fire in the form of mustard. Issus is beautiful! I wanted to shout at nature and say, O nature, why are you so beautiful, O Bidhata, why did you not give me immortality to see my Rupshi Bangla. Ahare … Beghore my life was lost in your love.

I was looking at the rows of palm trees in the distance and the old banyan tree beside us was also facing us. Our landscape was reading one click after another. There was a small commotion in the market when we were commenting on camera. Upazila chairman candidate came and welcomed us. In his reference, he gave the address of the house of the local chairman Shamim Hazari where we will find the juice. This time I thought of going there. Leaving the yellow ceremony behind, we head back. On the way there were cauliflower, onion and other fields.

Unexpectedly, we left Shamim Hazari’s house and went farther. But I did not know what to do then. I started walking along the village road. A mustard falling on both sides, hanging a jar of juice falling on a date tree. Somewhere in the paddy fields, the occasional gusts of wind. Eid Gah ground is next to the road, there is a huge old banyan tree. We rested there.

Now it’s time to go. Falling noon. We stood for a while in front of the canal flowing near Jhitka Bazar. When I arrived at the bus stand, there were many passengers on the bus. We also got up without delay.

Jhitka in the back, mustard fields falling on both sides. Rows and rows of date palms somewhere. Some people are sailing on the dinghy in the canal intoxicated with fish. Mustard gum on the nose. Really so nice smell! Leaving behind the ever-familiar face of the abominable Bengal, we are moving towards the ruined and busy city.
