Come and visit Santoshpur Rubber Garden.
The green leaves of the rubber tree are swaying with the wind. If you walk through these dense trees, your mind will be lost in the green ceremony. Sitting in the shade of a tree will connect the body and the soul. If you look around this rubber garden in a wide flat area, you will see the amazing natural beauty. There is such a beautiful rubber plantation near Dhaka. Visitors can spend hours and hours effortlessly in this garden full of unique natural artefacts. I was talking about Santoshpur Rubber Garden.
This rubber garden has been set up in Naogaon union of Fulbaria upazila of Mymensingh district. However, this rubber garden is not able to attract many visitors as it is not known.
Under the supervision of Bangladesh Forest Industry Development Corporation, rubber is made by collecting tree bark from Santoshpur Rubber Garden in a natural way, which is also exported abroad. Apurba Santoshpur forest covers an area of 108 acres. In addition, there are more than five hundred species of trees and rare species of monkeys in the forest, including shawls and carrots. Spread over an area of about 26 acres, this orchid garden is full of birds all year round. If you have a little more time, you can see the hundred-year-old tamal tree at Guptabrindaban village in Ghatail upazila of Tangail district within walking distance.
The most advantage will be if you take your own transport or rent a car. Besides, if you want to go by bus, you have to take a Mymensingh-bound bus from Dhaka’s Mohakhali bus stand and get off at Fulbaria bus stand. From there you can go to see the orchid garden by auto or CNG or if you want to go directly to Santoshpur rubber garden, you can add CNG from in front of Fulbaria Upazila Parishad.
Usually you can come back to Dhaka day after day by visiting Santoshpur Rubber Garden. However, if necessary, you can come to Mymensingh to spend the night.
