This post is for those who want to be a little refreshed with a day tour, overwhelmed by the urban hustle and bustle of bricks and stones.

Start the journey from Dhaka Kamalapur / Bimanbandar Railway Station to Chittagong at 11:30 pm on ‘Turna Express’. The train will drop you off at Chittagong railway station at 6:30 in the morning From there take a bus/rickshaw / CNG to Bahaddarhat bus terminal. From there you will get a bus to Kaptai every 15 minutes. Ask the helper to drop the zoom in front of the restaurant. It will take 2-2.30 hours. (Some buses go to Lichubagan ৷ so ask in advance. If you drop off Lichubagan, you’ll get on the bus / CNG to Zoom Restaurant.)

Now go kayaking by ordering food at Zoom Restaurant Come kayaking for 1 hour and have lunch Eat and walk around for a while. Then take the return bus to Bahaddarhat again. From there come to New Market corner and take bus / Laguna / CNG to Katgarh. Naval from Katgarh by rickshaw/auto. This time spends the whole afternoon in Naval, have breakfast with crab fry, onion, and coconut water, have a rickshaw/auto, and go to Patenga Sea Beach before evening.

Enjoy the sunset in Patenga and head to the Burmese market adjacent to the beach in the evening. Do some shopping there.

Now it’s time to return. Take the same road from Patenga to New Market via Katgarh. There you will find some good hotels for dinner After dinner, get on the return train at night and leave for Dhaka in the morning. Bring along some impossibly beautiful memories and get rid of all the frustration and fatigue.

* Bahaddarhat to Newmarket bus fare: (15 * 4) = 60 TK
* New Market to Katgarh bus: (20 * 4) = 80 TK
* Katgarh to Naval Auto: (20 * 4) = 60 TK
* Onion + Crab + Dab: (20 + 40 + 40) * 4 = 400 TK
* Naval to Patenga: (10 * 4) = 40 TK
* Patenga to Katgarh: (10 * 4) = 40 TK
* Katgarh to Newmarket bus: (20 * 4) = 60 TK
* Dinner: (120 * 4) = 480 TK
* Chittagong to Dhaka train: (350 * 4) = 1400 TK

★★ Total cost of 4 people:

(1400 + 120 + 60 + 240 + 60 + 400 + 480 + 240 + 60 + 60 + 60 + 400 + 40 + 40 + 60 + 480 + 1400 = 580 TK)

★★ Per person cost (560 ÷ 4) = 1420 TK

In other words, a very beautiful and captivating ‘day tour’ will be completed within 1500 TK by adding the cost. And if you are a ‘budget traveler’, you can save another 400 TK by traveling by mail train.

Note: Kaptai area is very clean and tidy. It is the responsibility and duty of all of us to keep our country clean. Don’t throw dirt wherever you go. Throw it in the dustbin. If the dustbin is not around, place it in a polythene bag on one side of the bag. If you see a dustbin, throw it there.
