Manikganj tour In a Day!

I made up my mind, no matter what, I will visit at least all the districts of Bangladesh. Besides visiting, I will highlight the traditions of these areas. According to that wish, this time travel, visit Manikganj. Teota zamindar house, Baliati zamindar house, the mustard field were the targets.

The journey of the four from all sides. So I decided to get together from Gabtali for the first time. Very early in the morning at 6.30, I left Gabtali for Arichaghat on the highway route (Khulna-bound) bus. The fare was 120 / per person. I got down at the Arichar junction and went to Teota in an auto for 30 tk per person.

On the way, I saw the confluence of the Jamuna, Meghna and Padma, the chars at the mouth of a huge estuary, the fishing trawler settlement on the river bank, the hundred-year-old bot tree known to the people of the area as the Manat tree. Just opposite the manor house. I had breakfast and tea here before. 20/30/40 tk, which is like food taste.

Then began the visit to the house of the Teota zamindar. A huge tank in front of the house There are two ghats in the dighi, the dighi with pink shapla. There is a temple on one side and a mosque here. Although the zamindar’s house was in ruins, its vastness and perfect craftsmanship combined to make it a restless work of art.

I spent about an hour here. Then I got out of here and walked around the river bank. There are some settlements on the other side of the char that come to their homes by trawlers. 100% pure natural air can be found here. Fresh fish, vegetables, fruits, young coconut.

Now it’s time to return from there. Aricha returned to the main road in that car. The journey started again by bus. Purpose Kalampur. The fare up to Kalampur is 50 / – per person. Getting down here by car, Saturia fare is 40 / per person.

Everything I saw on the way, brick kiln and brick kiln. There are also vast fields of crops, maize, a variety of winter vegetables, occasional sugarcane, and of course mustard fields. Unable to resist the urge, I went down to take pictures. As far as yellow and green are concerned. It was ringing in my mind again and again.

“Tujhe Dekha to e Jana , Sanam, Pair ho ta hai diwana sanam,
Ab eha se kaha yaye hum,
Tere bahome mar jayaye hum
” So beautiful that it is not really like expressing I thought yes, my tour was successful.

Reaching Saturia, everyone is hungry. I had lunch here at 120 tk per person, and yes, not without eating Ghior’s Misty, so I asked here and tasted Misty. From here I went by auto to Baliati Zamindar Bari. Rented at 10 tk per person.

A huge zamindar’s house with 3 gates inlaid with lions. This zamindar house is under the care of the Ministry of Archeology and has a touch of modernity. Yes, Baliati Zamindar Bari is closed on Sundays and opens after 2 pm on Mondays and closes at 5 pm every day. The entrance fee for the zamindar house is 20 /. Aina Mahal at the entrance.

It is forbidden to take pictures here or go to the 2nd-floor verandah. And no one has the right to enter any building other than this one. So we had to observe all the beauty from outside. It’s like a novel on every wall, it’s good to think about how advanced their art was.

Here are some water wells, And we as the Bengali artistic nation have floated the dustbin of garbage in the coupe At the end of all the buildings, there is a huge, pink shuffler tank at the back, with four paved ghats around it. There are many myths about this manor house.

From one of the wells in the mirror hall or from time to time the sound of very loud feminine cries can be heard on a rainy night. The former zamindars used to torture the housemaids for their entertainment and then throw their hands and feet in deep wells. And in the rainy season, divers would pick up the dead skeletons and put them on the ground. After hearing these stories, I got up with a cut on my body.

Anyway, all in all, I spent quality time here. I returned from Satuya just the way I left. From Saturia, I took the bus to Gabtoli and returned home. Gabtali has taken 70 tk from Saturia.

The desire was to become a national monument, but I could not go to Kulo at that time. All in all, I visited Manikganj near the beautiful Dhaka for 600+ tk. If you want you can also come back as a day tour.

Remember, there is no one else to clean up your garbage, so please don’t get dirty wherever you are. Nature did not give you any right to destroy nature. Happy traveling.
