Some tips:
উপযুক্ত Suitable weather for travel
According to the current weather, it is best to visit Nijhumdwip from October to mid-April. At other times it rains and storms cause the Meghna River and the sea to rise. If you go in the rainy season, you will get mud equal to the whole knee and you will have to cross the ematha and head of the whole island on foot, you will not be able to walk on the road, you will be covered in mud. However, in the rainy season you can eat a lot of fish, hilsato hand ap
Straight back If you go in winter, you will get better roads, less water in the canal, so you can go anywhere in the forest, you can see deer herds in the afternoon, the sea-beach will be much drier, you will find the Meghna river blue. The only problem is that the price of food will go up a lot. Autumn and spring are the best. An ideal tourist spot for a 2-3 day tour. Nijhumdwip is incomparable for the camping environment.
C Truck Matters:
C-trucks leave from Chairman Ghat / Nalchira depending on the tide. The C-truck leaves from Chairman Ghat at 8 am and from Nalchira Ghat at 10 am. Moreover, there are always trawlers and speedboats. Trawlers leave every 2 hours, no more trawlers after 5 pm. From Noakhali, by bus / train, you have to go by sea truck and trawler to the very northern end of Hatiyar – Nalchira Ghat.
Food Chessঃ
You won’t get much better than chess, you will get marine fish, meat, thick rice, bread, but it is better to pre-order. The best quality food hotel of all is Altaf Chachar Hotel (Hotel Asif). There are also many hotels in Namara market. It would be nice to eat fried sea fish and shrimp. The manager of Nijhum Resort will tell Sabuj Bhai to arrange all the arrangements for Bar BQ. Buy chicken / coral / hilsa and spend some money for spices, wood, he will arrange the bar BQ, all the instruments are with him only in Nijhumdwip, he is also an expert. Dab is available, price 20-25 rupees.
Mobile Charge:
Most of the area is dependent on solar and generators due to lack of electricity. You will find two shops for mobile / power bank / torch / camera battery charge. If you want to pay mobile full charge during the day, you will take 5 rupees and 5 rupees at night.
Campingঃ
Camping facilities are plentiful. Tents can be set up wherever the mind wants on the whole island, there is no fear of animals, just beware of wild buffalo. The best place to cross the canal next to Nijhum Resort in Namar Bazar is the huge (5/6 miles) open field on the sea shore. Or if you go straight ahead from the market along the beach road, you will find many open spaces, where you can pitch a tent. There is no need to take anything, everything can be found in the landing market, if you need anything then the ships can be found in the market. Everything is available in Nijhumdwip. Take a waterproof tent on a rainy day. You can buy tents at Aziz Super Market’s Peak 69, Bashundhara’s Mostafa Mat, Panthapath’s Adventure Shop, Dhanmondi’s Happy Arcade’s Sangriya. Again, if you don’t want to buy a tent with that much money, you can also rent a tent. Full waterproof tent rent is 350 rupees per day (four people can stay), they also have package system as per day. Contact: 017390748 (Rent-A-Tent).
For those who go camping, you don’t have to bother as much as other places for bathrooms, there is a public toilet next to the Namar Bazar mosque, and there is a pond for water supply.
Mobile Network:
Currently almost all operators have a network. Robi-Airtel 3G service is available.
ঃ Boat:
Fiber boats with a capacity of 40 people were rented to travel to Nijhumdwip National Park. Contact: Altab Hossain (boatman) Contact: 017115483 and 017569315.
Deer:
Deer are not seen in Nijhumdwip like before. If you want to see deer, you have to go to Choakhali Forest or Chowdhury Canal. You have to walk silently to see the deer, no noise. Eating deer meat is completely illegal, and can lead to life imprisonment, including fines.
Usageঃ
The use of every human being in Nijhumdwip is amiable. People are very simple. Due to the relatively low number of tourists, commercial thinking has not yet developed among them. They will help you as much as they can. There is very little greed in the minds of the people of this region of Bangladesh. They will never want to cheat you. Yet in the crowd of these good people there may be some bad-bad people. Keep in mind that those good people will not be bothered by your use. And whatever you do, don’t make the beach of Nijhumdwip dirty. Nijhumdwip is a very promising future of Bangladesh.
