Perfect destination for those who can’t find time except Friday-Saturday.
For travel-loving clerks like me, who can’t find time except Friday-Saturday, Kaptai-Rangamati can be the perfect destination. We, 6 such clerks, boarded the last bus (Shyamoli Paribahan – 11.30 pm) on Thursday night and left for Kaptai. I got down at Baraichhari Bazaar around 8 am on Friday, had breakfast and walked 10 minutes to Kaptai Kayak Club. I couldn’t help but be fascinated by the view here. After completing my formalities and wearing a life jacket, I got down to kayaking. 250-300 TK per hour, 2 people can ride every kayak. Although the first 10 minutes were random, I soon became a skilled rider. We went a lot farther while kayaking. After about 2 hours of kayaking, I drove to the Berannaye Lake Shore Cafe in front of the kayak club. We ate lunch there. Enjoy the beauty of Kaptai Lake while sitting in a small machang-like house and eating all the fun foods of the hills সব everything went together. I didn’t know when it was afternoon. This time the destination is Rangamati. Assam Slum Bridge in front of the cafe. After spending some time there, I left for Rangamati in an auto. After spending the night in Rangamati, I rode around Kaptai Lake in an engine boat all day the next day. It was evening when the engine boat dropped us off at Rangamati Ghat. At the end of dinner, I got on the bus like Subodh Kerani, I don’t have to hold the office the next day ???
