Cost and schedule:

In the evening (between 6am and 7am) direct journey to Mongla from Sayedabad bus counter (Sundarbans or tourist bus, no good bus). Bus fare 400 / =, dinner at Mawa Ghat with Hilsa, cost 100 / =.

Arrive Mongla early in the morning, first have breakfast (50 / =) and hire a trawler to go to Karamjal in the Sundarbans. Go in groups of four or five, it will cost 800-1000 / = (perhead 200 / =) to reserve, must be negotiated. Turn up to two here.

Come to Mongla, visit Mongla port between two and three o’clock and have lunch (cost 100 / =). However, if you cannot manage the police, you will not be able to enter the port. At three o’clock you will get on the bus from Bagerhat and go to the sixty-domed mosque.

Sixty domes will reach the mosque within four, bus fare and ticket cost 70-80 / = per head.

Next to the sixty domes is the Singair Mosque. Stay here until dusk.

After Maghrib you will go to Khan Jahan’s shrine by autobike, rent perhead 10 / =, stay here till 9 pm. Here you will have dinner with shrimp. Cost per head 100 / =.

You will go to Bagerhat bus stand by auto at 9 o’clock, fare 15 / =, you will get Dhaka bound bus at 10 o’clock. Rent 370 / =, will reach Dhaka in the morning.
