We went to Monpura Island to see the beauty of nature.

Many of us go far to see the beauty of nature, but very close to us on Monpura Island there are all the arrangements of nature that are bound to fascinate you, if you are lucky to see a flock of Chitra deer running after.

The combined estuary waves of the vast Meghna and the Bay of Bengal are enough to make you tremble.

There are opportunities to eat fresh Hilsa, Poya, Ayr, Rita and many other delicious sweet water fish from Meghna estuary, along with sour curd made from buffalo milk of Monpura.

Rows and rows of mangrove forests and dolphin anagona in the river are all great holiday destinations. There are official bungalows to stay, can camping.

From Monpura, you can take a trawler for an hour and a half across the river to Nijhum Island where you are greeted by 40,000 deer and millions of red crows.
