Central Park is one of the most visited urban parks in the United States, with the exception of other parks in the world. It is one of the largest and most interesting parks in the world. Millions of nature lovers from all over the world flock here to enjoy the beauty of the park. Land was purchased for the park in 1853, and the park was initially established in 1857 with the acquisition of 8 acres (315 hectares) of land.
Geologist Frederick Le Olmstad and architect Calvert Vox, who later won a design competition to develop and expand the park with a plan titled “Greensword Plan” Renovation work on the park began in 1857. It was opened to the public in the winter of the same year. The park was designated a “National Historic Site” by the US Department of the Interior in 1983, and was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in April 2016.
The park is located at the northeast end of New York’s Zero Point Columbus Circle, to the right of downtown Manhattan in New York City. There are several metro stations next to the park and you can easily reach the park by bus from Penn Station or Grand Central Station. Another attraction of the park is the artificially made walkway made of rock inscriptions and cuts from the Yellow Rumble Mountains. It is located in the middle of the southern edge of the park. In fact, it is not possible to visit the whole park at one time and enjoy its beauty because in one season one comes with a shield of beauty, so I hoped to go again.
