I have always loved the mountains and the sea. At first, I wanted Meghalaya, then it was Bhutan, then I thought of going to Kashmir… Then suddenly the two of us decided not to go to sea. Then with the budget in mind, I planned to visit Andaman and Kolkata, these two places.

I arranged all the plans keeping in mind the Eid-ul-Adha. Since the holiday is only 10 days, I can do everything from Dhaka to the maximum …

6th August to 16th August = 10 days

8 August night Dhaka to Kolkata 6

There are three ways to go from Dhaka to Kolkata by bus, train, and plane. I always like to live in. So I decided to go to Shyamoli’s direct bus. I bought a ticket a month ago on a direct bus. It takes a lot of time. I don’t have a bus ticket because I have another plan. As usual, our journey started at 12 o’clock at night. \

August 6: Kolkata city

I reached Benapole Immigration at 8 am to get some traffic jams. It was 2 o’clock in the afternoon to go to Kolkata after finishing all the work like myself. Then we ate lunch at Mirza Ghalib’s Prince Restaurant and started shopping. Our plan was to stay at Kolkata Airport for a whole night so we booked tickets to Indigo Air at 5:30 in the morning.

All-day Park Street, Ultodanga Bigbazar, and back to the airport at 8 pm. Rule !!! Don’t let me in at the airport before 12 o’clock at night. I stay in the waiting room till 10:30. In the end, I entered the airport at 10:30 am with great difficulty. The two of us started walking from Ematha to Omaha at the airport.

Today’s cost: 300/ taxies. I will give the cost of food at the end.

9-August 8 Kolkata to Port Blair

It won’t bother me !!!! Schedule change of the plane. 5:30 to 6:30 in the morning. Then at the end of it all, I flew two Indigo Air. Time 2 hours.

We land at 9:20. Just 10 minutes to pick up the luggage. I heard before leaving that you have to take RAP. But the new rule is that no one needs RAP except Pakistan, China, and Afghanistan.

As soon as they got out of the airport, the drivers of the autos and cars grabbed them. The hotel was pre-arranged at Hotel Andaman Shore. One auto driver said 80 rupees and the rest 100 rupees. So I got up at 80. I discovered myself in front of the hotel in just 5 minutes. Much better as a family hotel.

Check-in at the hotel and start exploring. I picked up the auto driver from the hotel. We had lunch at JC restaurant. Very good.

Then one by one

Visit Cellular Jail, Corbyn’s Cove Beach, Merina Park, Sea Museum, and watch light and sound show at Cellular Jail.

Auto cost = Rs.600

Cellular Jail = Rs. 100 / person

Cellular Jail light & sound Show = 150 rupees / person

We should take care of the environment while going around. We should not do anything that harms the environment. Unused and unnecessary things should be thrown away.
