The Golden Temple is the main temple of the Sikh religious community. Its original name is "Sri Harmandir Sahib" - meaning the House of God. It is also called Gurudwara. Sikhism believes that everyone in the world is equal. The rich, the poor, the educated, the uneducated, the uneducated, all are equal.
