Brief History: –
Saad Uddin Siddiqui, son of Nawab Qutb Uddin Siddiqui, a descendant of Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddiqui (R), the first caliph of the Islamic world, was the first head of the Baliadi estate. Motwali Chowdhury Tanvir Ahmed Siddiqui of the present Boliadi Estate. The Mughal Emperor Jahangir established the Boliadi Estate in 1612 AD. At present, Chowdhury Tanvir Ahmed Siddiqui is the zamindar of this traditional Kaliakair Boliadi estate. He is the 36th descendant of Caliph Abu Bakr Siddiqui. (Source: Daily Struggle)

 

 

 

★ Location – Baliadi Union, Kaliakair Upazila, Gazipur.

★ How to go: –

From Dhaka’s Mohakhali to Tangail-bound bus, get off at Kaliakair bypass fare 50-60 TK, then go by rickshaw, CNG or tempo to Baliadi zamindar’s house. The rent will be Rs 50,10 respectively.
The beauty and natural environment of the house will surely fascinate you.
After seeing everything, let’s go to Srifaltali zamindar’s house. This is also basically the house of Mughal emperor. It is located 2 km away from Boliadi zamindar’s house and rickshaw fare near Kaliakair bypass is 20 TK.

 

 

 

 

 Good to know-

* Neither of these two zamindar houses is under the jurisdiction of the Department of Archeology of the Government, their descendants are the present owners.
* There is a hotel called Home Restaurant next to the bypass for eating which is standard.
