Sheikh Russell National Park in Nawabganj Upazila of Dinajpur is a land of natural beauty. Water hyacinths have already been cleared from the reservoirs by planting earthen pots on various trees, planting various species of beautifying flowering trees along the forest side, and removing illegal structures in the beel to keep the arrival of guest birds at bay in winter. As a result, the national park has become a hotbed of guest birds before the winter sets in.

In general, Sheikh Russell National Park is becoming more vibrant day by day with the initiative of the government and local administration.
